Who is Tony Ingrassia?
Tony Ingrassia struggled with his sexual gift for many years until it almost destroyed his life. Although he became a believer in Christ at the age of 16, for many years thereafter Tony was simply powerless to resist sexual temptation and acted out over and over again in many different ways, including pornography, masturbation, fornication, strip clubs, and adulterous affairs. When Tony acted out in these ways, he did so in violation of his very own conscience, but for some reason was unable to stop these behaviors, and he often wondered what was wrong with him. After becoming involved in an affair with his best friend’s wife, Tony finally hit rock bottom, and began the healing journey that enabled him to eventually understand and overcome his constant struggle with sex. Today Tony is a Licensed Professional Counselor, and now helps other men who are struggling with issues of sexual compulsion and addiction to find healing and freedom. He does this through his counseling, books, podcast, and the life changing program he’s developed – The Pathway to Purity Intensive Workshop. Tony Ingrassia is a pastor, counselor, and entrepreneur. After becoming a Christian as a teenager, he studied for ministry at Florida Bible College, where he was elected student body president and graduated with a B.A. in Biblical Education with a minor in Theology. Tony earned his Masters of Arts in Counseling (MAC) at Covenant Theological Seminary, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Missouri. Tony is the founder and executive director of The Power of Purity - a 501 c3 non-profit ministry that helps men to express and experience their sexual gift in a healthier way. Tony has created The Power of Purity Intensive Workshop that men can attend live, or in the privacy of their own home. This intensive helps men to understand the roots of their sexual struggle, and provides the practical information, tools, and strategies that empower men to be healthier in their relationship with sex. Tony also presents The Power of Purity Podcast which is literally reaching around the world with God’s healing message of purity. Tony is the executive director of Freedom Counseling Service, where he specializes in both individual and couples therapy, and is certified in EMDR therapy. Tony has authored three books concerning sexual purity: Stories, The Power of Purity, and The Pathway to Purity Intensive Workbook.
Tony is an entrepreneur who has worked in the remodeling, real estate, and consulting industries. He started his own remodeling company in 1987 and grew it into one of the largest Midwest companies of its kind with over 50 employees. After selling that company in 1996, he authored various programs designed to help home remodeling companies prosper, and has worked as a consultant conducting training seminars for some of the largest remodeling companies in the United States.

The information written just above about Tony Ingrassia is the "official" information that you’d expect to be included on a website, but here's the "real deal" about Tony's life. He was a deeply broken man for many years whose sexual addiction manifested itself in his life through constant lust, compulsive masturbation, pornography, strip clubs, and adulterous affairs. In the darkest of days Tony literally despaired of life itself when the consequences of his addiction threatened to bring total destruction upon his life. That's the bad news.
But the good news that Tony is now experiencing what is proclaimed in Psalm 147:3 - He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
Tony believes this is his greatest "credential" within the Kingdom of God. Not college degrees, or books written, or ministries started. But living proof that God Almighty has the power to bring His healing, redemption, restoration, and Kingdom to people who are deeply wounded and broken. In fact, Tony believes this is the essence of the gospel of Christ - God's ability to bring His light and life to our places of darkness and death. If God can help, heal, and redeem Tony's broken and messed up life, there has to be hope for everybody and anybody else. Convinced that many good men struggle with their sexuality, it's Tony’s hope that his story will help other men find hope and healing as they seek to bring their sexual gift under the authority of Christ.
Tony lives in St. Charles Missouri and owns a farm in northern Missouri which allows him to pursue his great love of the outdoors. Tony has 3 sons and 4 grandchildren.
